Lil Wayne is bringing his Carter catalog to Savannah, with 2 Chainz joining him at Enmarket Arena on Saturday, December 5. The show starts at 7 p.m., and general tickets go on sale Friday, October 9, at 10 a.m. Eastern. The newly announced date gives Savannah a Saturday-night arena show before the holiday calendar gets too crowded.

The Carter name covers a long stretch of Wayne’s career. Tha Carter arrived in 2004, followed by Tha Carter II in 2005; Tha Carter III followed in 2008 and won the Grammy for Best Rap Album. That third installment also delivered “Lollipop,” “A Milli,” and “Got Money.” The tour’s Carter Classics billing makes the catalog the starting point, though the Savannah set list has not been announced.

With New Orleans’ Lil Wayne and Atlanta’s 2 Chainz on the same bill, there is a clear Southern connection. The artist presale opens Wednesday, October 7, at noon Eastern, with venue and Live Nation presales following Thursday at 10 a.m. Check eligibility before relying on an early ticket window. Use Enmarket Arena’s official event page for the ticket link, and put December 5 on the calendar before making the rest of the night’s plans.
