Pho 5 Spices is a welcome addition to Broughton Street. Family-owned and independent, it's the kind of place that gives a downtown area more character. The Vietnamese menu is excellent, but what stood out to us was the seasoning. The spices are balanced, distinctive, and bring a lot of flavor to the meats without feeling heavy. Add a strong Vietnamese coffee program and a convenient downtown location, and it's worth a stop the next time you're exploring the area.
