Lester's - Lester's has officially opened in downtown Savannah. Lester's brings a French-inspired oyster bar to the Historic District with oysters, seafood towers, crudos, cocktails, and a menu that feels a little different from anything else currently in town. Jacques Larson, a two-time James Beard Award nominee best known for Charleston restaurants such as Wild Olive and The Obstinate Daughter. His arrival in Savannah has generated quite a bit of buzz among food people because he has a strong track record and isn't opening a tourist-focused concept. Located beside The Douglas on Oglethorpe Avenue, Lester's is one of the most talked-about restaurant openings of the year.
