Situated inside the stylish Olmsted Apartments and just across from Service Brewery, this café is designed to be an all day hangout for locals, students, and visitors alike. With its open air seating and inviting ambiance, we have a feeling that Foxtail will quickly become another hub for the community.

The open air seating is one of the first things that catches your attention. The design allows Savannah’s warm breeze to flow through the space, creating a relaxed atmosphere that feels both vibrant and welcoming. The furnishings are casual yet tasteful perfect for everything from a quick coffee break to an afternoon study session. Tracey Jones, the owner of Foxtail Coffee Savannah, shared her excitement about the shop’s design: “This has been in the works for a very long time, and we think the shop turned out incredibly beautiful.”

Behind the counter, baristas craft specialty espresso drinks and pour rich cold brews. The menu offers a mix of classic coffee options and creative blends, catering to a wide range of tastes.

Photos by Brett Bigelow

Tracey emphasized that Foxtail isn’t just about coffee; it’s about creating a sense of belonging. “The goal behind Foxtail is always to create a second home a place where everybody can meet up, hang out, read, or study. Tracey explained why she chose this spot: “I just love the city of Savannah the energy, the people it’s so eclectic. I thought it was a place where Foxtail would resonate with people.” Students from SCAD are already stopping by to sketch or brainstorm over coffee, while locals discover it as a hidden gem.

Foxtail’s grand opening has been met with enthusiasm from the community. “Everyone has been anxiously awaiting our opening,” Tracey said. The café is open seven days a week from 7 AM to 8 PM, making it accessible for early risers grabbing their morning brew or those settling in for an evening study session. Tracey hopes customers will feel connected not only to the space but also to the people who work there: “We want everybody to get to know our baristas not just by name but by drink.”

Foxtail offers something for everyone.
